Founders
Ross + mak Dykstra
Starting off with rehab projects and real estate development, the pair desired to develop their own family culture of "doing life together".
In 2018, with five little girls under their roof - the couple embarked on the entrepreneur road with new construction and began their first two homes.
Gaining much attention and interest in the little city of Blue Ash, OH, as well as various media outlets - the 5DC name created quite a stir, bringing unique, modern designs to an overly saturated, "cookie cutter", building pool.
The pair are still pursing a life of "family togetherness", incorporating their family + work life as much as possible. Ross operates 5DC as CEO & Founder and MaK operates "Team Dykstra" as CEO, Homeschooling Vet & SAHM to their 5 daughters and two sons.
Today, Five Daughters Construction has expanded across Southern Ohio & Kentucky, with nearly 100 custom homes built from the ground up. We work directly with clients in building their custom dream home that is outside of the "cookie cutter" big box options.

Landon Case joined 5DC right out the gate. With a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from NKU, Ross & Landon met while working together for a local builder. The two formed a lifetime (brotherhood) friendship and have been building homes from the ground up together for nearly a decade. Shortly after 5DC was created and began to solidify, Landon joined the team with no questions asked. His attention to detail, tireless work ethic, and years of construction experience are an invaluable asset to 5DC. Landon lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Jackie, and their four beautiful children.

Director of Office Administration
Daniel operates his privately held, financial office out of the 5DC headquarters, providing secure, financial investing & insurance opportunities to clients, as well as directing operations and administrational tasks for the 5DC team. With decades of experience in both the insurance and financial worlds, Daniel provides a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. He is also the proud grandfather of the five daughters (and two sons), lives in Loveland, OH, with his beautiful bride (of 50 years!), Treva, and a native to the Cincinnati local area.
